Cookie policy
The good cookies come out of our oven.
Those ones are made with peanut butter and baked every morning. The ones on this page are not for eating: they only tell us which pages get visited, so we can make the site better. We do not sell data, we do not advertise with it and we do not build profiles of anyone.
Who we are
This site belongs to Baristrum SL, the company behind the Frutas Prohibidas restaurant at Calle Conde Duque 26, 28015 Madrid, Spain. For anything about this page, write to info@frutasprohibidas.com.
Before you accept anything
The site works without cookies. It is a static site: no basket, no user account, nothing that needs to remember you from one page to the next.
The only thing running at all times is the aggregate visit count that comes with Vercel, the company that hosts the site. It counts page views, country, device type and browser, storing nothing on your device and using no identifier that follows you from one visit to the next. We cannot tell who you are, and we cannot recognise you when you come back.
If you accept
If you press «Accept» in the notice at the bottom, we load Google Analytics 4, which does set two cookies. If you press «No thanks», nothing from Google is loaded and no cookie is set. Both buttons sit side by side, and the site looks exactly the same whichever one you choose.

Google Analytics data may be processed outside the European Union, under the safeguards Google sets out in its privacy policy. On our side we only look at totals: how many people come in, where they come from and which pages they read.
Changing your mind
You can also block or delete cookies from your browser, on any site: Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. If you block cookies, this site still works exactly the same.
Other things the site loads
The typefaces come from Google Fonts. They set no cookies, but downloading them means Google receives the IP address you ask from, as with any file served over the internet.
The buttons for the video menu, Glovo, Uber Eats, Google Maps and our social accounts take you off this site. From there each of them applies its own policy.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you access to your data, correct it, delete it or stop processing it by writing to info@frutasprohibidas.com. If you think we have got it wrong, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority (aepd.es).
And if you have read a whole cookie policy, you have earned the real thing: the Pecado Mortal, our peanut butter cookie, is waiting at the counter.
